Toledo Furniture proudly manufactures all products on-site at their factory located in Launceston, Tasmania.

Toledo Furniture was the dream of Henri Nieuhoff who trained in Holland as a furniture designer and cabinet maker. He moved to Tasmania and from 1974 used his skills to create quality and long lasting furniture. Henri believed that Tasmanian timber was some of the best in the world and his son Michael has the same passion for quality furniture manufacturing.

Michael now operates the factory and showroom which specialises in Toledo timber products and Stressless® Norweigen recliners. The workforce has a continuing apprentice training regime and proudly has 20% female employees. Experience is a major factor of the factory workforce with a total of 200 years experience working in the field of cabinet making. Michael and his employees are always keen to keep up with technology and new trends, while preserving their passion for quality.
